Luigi's Bedtime - Just Too Sleepy

Here is a sweet video of Luigi trying to get some sleep.  He got a haircut today.  I really should have taken a picture of him before, when he is a nice ball of fur.  His hair is so tightly curly though, I have to cut it when he's cutest because it matts so quickly.  His cousin Cookie (cocka-poo) came over this morning for a play date.  This afternoon we bought some new telephones for the house that can hold 100 names.  Now we don't have to keep jumping up looking for telephone numbers.  And beautiful rain has arrived.  That makes for good sleeping.

Happy 92nd Birthday Auntie Isabel

Happy Birthday Auntie Isabel.  We all had a great time together today and I'm so happy that we all got to spend it together.  I love you.

Family Christmas Dinner

I'm so proud of myself.  I learned how to rotate this picture.  Dad is so photogenic.  He always takes a great picture.  Uncle Joe had a cyst drained yesterday from the back of his head, and fortunately we were able to encourage him to come to the dinner.  As you can see, he was getting pretty tired though.  We really had a great evening.

Right now I am really working on learning more about Facebook.  So, I have been adding friends and posting pictures, and adding my profile.

Today dad and I went to the movies and saw "How Do You Know" - I thought it was going to be a comedy, but we did see some good Trailers for upcoming movies.  Coming up next week are True Grit and The Little Fockers.   Gotta love it.

December 14, 2010

Another great day.  Took dad to Physical Therapy.  He had a great session.  Of course, I pulled up Barbra Streisand on YouTube while I waited for him.  I love her song, "The Music That Makes Me Dance".  Pull that song up yourself on YouTube.  She is amazing.

Then we ran to Denny's in Fremont and had a great lunch with Uncle Joe and Aunt Isabel.  We spend so much time together, I will definitely start taking pictures to post here.  They are so darn cute, I should take videos.  Hey, I think I will.  Let me go pull up some random photo to post for today.  Aah, here is a cute picture of three of my adorable cousins - Tony, Kim and Edgar.

Blogging's Not Easy

Whew!  Blogging is not easy.  Apparently there is a difference between blogger and blogspot.  I have been trying to access this blog for days to post - and just could not find it.  I could find this blog to view, but not to add new posts.  But here it is, finally.  You can find this to view using Blogspot, but you cannot post unless you log into Blogger.  I hope I have this right after days of going in circles.

Last night we saw the Judds in concert at the Coliseum.  Great show.  I love the Judds.

Friday night dad and I went to Debbie's house for Krissy's Scentsy Party.  They are safe wax candles that you plug into the wall.  Very safe, even if left plugged in.  Dad was looking for candles for when the power goes out.  haha  wrong candles.

Not everyone will let me use their picture, but believe me, they were all pretty cute.
Top to bottom are Cousin Debbie, Cousin Krissy, Cousins Darla and Raymond

This is one of my favorite pictures of dad and Luigi here in Hayward. What more does a gal need than her dad and her dog together smiling. I think Luigi may be smirking.

Luigi is already four years and still fun as a puppy.
Picture of the Christ child. A fine petti-point antique handmade by the Franciscan nuns with German thread and a German frame. Made in Wisconsin in 1903. This has been hung over Auntie Isabel's and Uncle Joe's bed for decades and is very beautiful and beloved.
Now onto Southland Mall in Hayward, California. Quite the happening place. I just joined the fitness center there - Planet Fitness. I joined for $20 a month so that I can use the massage chair for Free! That is so much more fun than exercise. Ha ha Now, if I could just find a way to bring Luigi inside with me.

Around Hayward

Of course, I have been wanting to get a Class B Van and travel everywhere - but alas I am pretty much here in Hayward about 100% of the time. Especially now that I'm helping my dad. So finally, I have decided it might be fun to just blog about Hayward. Give me an excuse to get out and about and see more of it. It is a special town. Although, really aren't all towns if you take the time for discovery.

So I grabbed my camera and this blog begins.
